Voiceover working 9-5, what a way to make a living…

Voiceover

Nah.

Not me.

Nope.

It wasn’t me, your favourite voiceover, sitting in the lounge yesterday flicking through shite TV when I should have been working.

People sometimes ask, don’t you get tempted to slack off if you work from home every day?

I mean, I suppose I could.

So, I did a test, I took my laptop from the office and worked in the lounge for the day to see how it’d go. Would I have the mental strength to just work instead of doom-scrolling and channel-hopping?

Viewer, I didn’t – and I knew that’d be the case.

The reason I hit the office at nine, and don’t leave until five (apart from essentials and a daily walk out in the fresh air) is that I know I don’t have the willpower.

How is it for you? Are you able to work efficiently anywhere or are you like me a no-good slacker?

Let me know.? Yes you, the lurker who reads my posts but doesn’t click or reply. I see you.

I’m Mark and when I AM working I’m a damn good British Voiceover. Deliver me from temptation by keeping me busy. DM or email if you need a narrator.
